Job description

Position Title:
Automation Intern - Summer 2026 (Puerto Rico)
Job Description:
Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

The PMO Reporting & Automation Summer Intern will support the PMO by helping build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using Microsoft Dataverse as the primary data source. This role will also support Excel validation/analysis and Power Automate flows to streamline reporting. Reports will be consumed by the PMO, project team members, and organizational leaders.
How you will make an impact:
  • Assist in developing and enhancing Power BI reports/dashboards for portfolio and project reporting (status, milestones, risks/issues, workload/capacity, key KPIs).
  • Connect to and work with Microsoft Dataverse tables; support data validation and basic data quality checks.
  • Support creation/maintenance of calculations (DAX as needed) and apply visualization best practices for clear, consistent reporting.
  • Publish/support reports in Power BI Service (refresh support and access/workspace help as permitted).
  • Use Excel to reconcile/validate report outputs and support ad hoc PMO analysis.
  • Assist in creating or maintaining Power Automate flows for reporting processes (reminders, notifications, standardized status capture, etc.).
  • Document report definitions (KPI logic, data sources, refresh cadence) and track enhancements/requests.
  • Comply with all company policies/procedures and PMO governance, including confidentiality and data handling standards.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience with Power BI, Excel, and/or Power Automate.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
  • Preferred: exposure to Microsoft Dataverse, Power Query, and/or basic DAX.
  • Experience computing and validating KPIs (rates, ratios, percentages) and interpret charts.
