How You'll Make an Impact
  • Design and configure substation automation systems using MicroSCADA.
  • Develop communication architectures with IEC 61850, Modbus, and DNP3.
  • Create HMI screens and RTU logic for real-time monitoring and control.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and quality.
  • Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities on-site and remotely.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize system performance for maximum reliability.
  • Engage with customers to refine designs and enhance system functionality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.
    Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in substation automation or industrial control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with MicroSCADA configuration and deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of IEC 61850 and related communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards for automation systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
