Job description

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead automation and electrical projects that support safe, efficient plant operations. You will provide technical expertise in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and system alignment with company standards while supporting continuous improvement across the site.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
  • Provide daily automation support to operations and facilities teams
  • Execute automation and electrical projects to improve equipment reliability and performance
  • Develop and deliver training to strengthen automation, electrical, and instrumentation knowledge across the site
  • Align information technology and operational technology infrastructure, programming, and equipment with company standards
  • Participate in daily production meetings and support Early Management and Preventive Maintenance initiatives
  • Partner on equipment obsolescence planning and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and good manufacturing practices requirements
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate across teams, including providing off-hours support as needed

Ingredients Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, electronics, information technology, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year of programmable logic controller programming experience
  • Knowledge of electrical principles and components such as human machine interfaces, servo controllers, variable frequency drives, sensors, and process instrumentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to apply engineering principles in complex situations
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments such as Food and Drug Administration, United States Department of Agriculture, or Process Safety Management is a plus
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, blueprints, electrical schematics, and piping and instrumentation diagrams
  • Proficiency with standard computer programs, including email and Microsoft Office

You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.
This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation
Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
