From programming PLCs to troubleshooting robotics and supporting new installations, you'll ensure our production lines deliver beauty products efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
You'll combine technical expertise with problem-solving to keep operations humming. Here's what you'll do:
- Program and troubleshoot: Work on electrical control systems including PLCs, robotics, servos, VFDs, and HMIs using laptops and software tools.
- Diagnose and repair: Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls, 3-phase power distribution, and industrial machine controls-with or without schematics.
- Maintain documentation: Keep accurate records in CMMS, update PLC program files, and maintain electrical drawings.
- Drive improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost equipment availability, quality, and performance.
- Support installations: Assist with new equipment setups and system upgrades.
- Wire and configure: Install and wire transformers, VFD controllers, motors, and other industrial electrical components.
- Collaborate and train: Share knowledge with other technicians and maintenance staff to build team capability.
- Ensure safety: Follow company standards, identify unsafe conditions, and take corrective action.
- Respond quickly: Be ready to act during plant emergencies to minimize downtime.

Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in industrial electrical controls or equivalent education.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, GE, Siemens preferred).
- Knowledge of robotics, servos, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial electrical systems.
- Familiarity with facility utility systems (boilers, chillers, air compressors).
- Arc Flash and Lockout/Tagout training required.
- Personal hand tools required; company provides specialized equipment (multimeters, laptops).
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate electronic test equipment (oscilloscope, digital multi-meter, rf-oscillator, digital frequency counter, inductance-capacitance and resistance meter)
- Must be able to modify a circuit with or without a schematic
- Must be able to fabricate electrical panels and terminal boxes
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and safely
- Must be able to maneuver up to 500 pounds safely with the use of a mechanical aid
- Must be able to operate common shop tools and power shop tools safely and effectively
- Must be able to work with a wide range of industrial equipment (hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication, welding, pipe fitting, power transmission systems, etc.)
- Must be able to read calipers, tape measures and angle gauges
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods (e.g., up to 8-10 hours per shift)
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, and climb ladders or stairs
- Must be able to push/pull carts, pallets, or equipment
- Must be able to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and arms
- Must be able to operate manual and/or powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts-if certified)
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to varying temperatures (e.g., refrigerated areas, hot production zones)
Cognitive & Communication Requirements
- Must be able to read, understand, and follow and give written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to read and work from electrical drawings, prints or schematics
- Must be able to read and work from ladder logic diagrams
- Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with team members and supervisors
- Must have strong computer skills
- Must have knowledge of national, state and local electrical codes
- Must have thorough understanding of AC/DC motor controls, 3 phase power distribution and 120VAC/ 24VDC control wiring

Safety & Hygiene Requirements
- Must wear required PPE (e.g., steel toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, ear protection)
- Must wear protective netting over hair and/or beard
- Must comply with hygiene standards (e.g., handwashing, sanitizing, clean uniform)
- Must be able to follow all safety procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies
Work Schedule & Environment
- Must be able to work assigned shifts, including overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Must be flexible to change shifts to provide support when needed
- Must be able to travel occasionally
- Must be able to work in environments with noise, dust, or strong odors
- Must be able to work in close proximity to others and maintain spatial awareness
Sensory Requirements
- Must meet vision requirements for reading labels, operating equipment, and identifying safety hazards (e.g., corrected vision to 20/40)
- Must meet hearing requirements for alarms, verbal instructions, and equipment sounds (e.g., ability to hear within a certain decibel range)
- Must be able to detect and respond to environmental cues (e.g., flashing lights, warning signals)

Shift hours: 2:45pm - 11:15pm
Revlon is unable to sponsor or transfer employment visas for this role; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa support.
The base pay range for this position is $38.00 / hour with a $1.10 shift differential for 2nd shift; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short-term incentives as part of total compensation.
Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Employees are covered by the company-paid basic life insurance policy and company-paid short-term disability insurance (the benefit commences upon hire and allows for a portion of base salary for up to 26 weeks if you are disabled). Other benefits offered to employees include but are not limited to the following: long-term disability, supplemental life insurances, flexible spending accounts, critical illness insurance, group legal, identity theft protection, etc. Employees are also able to enroll in our 401k Retirement Savings Plan.
Employees will also receive 3 weeks of vacation, pro-rated based on date of hire for the 1st year of employment and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Vacation will depend on role.
