This position offers a great opportunity to work on industry leading semiconductor devices, targeted for broad applications in Automotive and Industrial markets. In this role, you'll be a member of DfT and Test Technology Development team, tasked with driving ATE test automation supporting Analog/Digital test strategies across various product lines. In this role, your responsibility is to drive ATE test program generation tools. Knowledge and experience with software development using of C++/C[AC2] #/Python is necessary. Candidate should know ATE platform language and architecture to develop low-level ATE code for Analog/Mix Signal blocks to integrate DfT and test/HW design requirements. The end goal is to design and productize deep Analog and Mixed-Signal test automated solutions that are high in efficiency and that enable organization benchmarks for targeted test cost and cycle time. 

As a key member of the DfT and Technology Development Product Engineering Team, you will serve as an ATE Application Engineer with primary responsibility for defining, developing, and deploying automated test solutions that enable efficient new product development and highvolume production testing. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in ATE platforms ( ETS800, T200, V93K etc.) , test method development, and software automation, along with strong crossfunctional leadership.

  • BS / MS (EE / CS / CE ) with 7+ years of direct semiconductor ATE test automation experience.
  • Proven experience as an ATE Application Engineer supporting IC testing, with strong exposure to Analog / MixedSignal devices, particularly in power and sensing products.
  • Solid understanding of DfT concepts, IC test strategies, and test method development across digital and analog domains.
  • Handson experience with ATE platforms such as Advantest and/or Teradyne.
  • Strong software development skills in C, C++, Python, and/or Java, including automation frameworks and testerresident software.
  • Familiarity with EDA tools (Siemens, Synopsys, Cadence) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex test automation projects in a fastpaced, crossfunctional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the definition, architecture, and development of stateoftheart ATE automation solutions used by New Product Development engineers.
  • Drive ATE test automation strategy, including the development of test program generation utilities, reusable frameworks, and standardized test method libraries for existing and new IPs.
  • Act as a hands-on ATE application engineer, providing deep technical expertise in Analog / MixedSignal semiconductor test methods and ontester debug.
  • Design, develop, and maintain productionready automation software using C, C++, Python, or Java, with the ability to enhance and refactor legacy codebases.
  • Collaborate directly with ATE vendors (e.g., Advantest, Teradyne) to develop and support lowlevel tester automation and platformspecific solutions.
  • Provide primary ATE automation support to New Product Development teams, from early silicon bringup through production ramp.
  • Apply strong understanding of ATE system architectures (e.g., ETS800, T2000/T2K, iFlex) to optimize test flow, performance, and cost.
  • Participate as a core contributor in crossfunctional teams (Design, DfT, BU Product Engineering) to deliver low cost-of-test solutions for complex analog and mixedsignal IPs in highvolume manufacturing.
  • Serve as the technical interface and advocate between ATE vendors, BU Product Engineers, and Design teams to define automation requirements, align on test strategies, and ensure execution against agreed checklists and milestones.
