Maintenance Manager | Supervisory Electrician | Food Manufacturing

We are hiring a Maintenance Manager with an active Oregon Supervisory Electrician license to lead a 9-person maintenance team at a food manufacturing facility in Salem, OR. This is a hands-on leadership role combining advanced electrical expertise with full department management in a 144,000 sq. ft. production environment.

What You'll Own:

  • Full maintenance department leadership - safety, reliability, productivity, and team development
  • All electrical work performed in compliance with NEC and Oregon state licensing requirements
  • Troubleshooting and repair of complex electrical and controls systems on industrial machinery
  • PLC, VFD, servo, robotics, and automated packaging line maintenance and improvement
  • Comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance program
  • Facility and equipment maintenance including pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, HVAC, refrigeration, and glycol chillers
  • Food-safe maintenance practices and sanitation compliance
  • Cross-functional support with production, safety, and operations teams
  • Coaching, mentoring, and holding accountable a team of maintenance mechanics and specialists

What We're Looking For:

  • Active Oregon Supervisory Electrician license required - this is a day one requirement
  • 6-10 years of maintenance leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Strong industrial electrical and controls background - PLCs, VFDs, servos, robotics
  • Experience with automated packaging, conveyor, labeling, and palletizing systems
  • Preventive maintenance and CMMS experience required
  • Food or beverage manufacturing experience preferred - industrial manufacturing required
  • Comfortable operating in a 24/7 production environment with on-call support as needed
  • Strong communicator with experience in multicultural work environments
