Job Title: Senior Mechatronics Engineer – Robotics & Automation
Location: Austin, TX
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer with strong experience in industrial robotics, automation, and electromechanical system integration to modernize legacy manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate industrial robots, cobots, and automated systems into existing production lines.
- Program and troubleshoot Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, or Universal Robots.
- Develop and optimize PLC and motion control systems (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell or Siemens).
- Configure HMIs, sensors, actuators, motors, and vision systems.
- Design robotic work cells using SolidWorks/AutoCAD and support commissioning.
- Troubleshoot automation equipment and ensure compliance with OSHA and robotic safety standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial robotics and manufacturing automation.
- Hands-on experience with industrial robots and PLC programming.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, or ROS/ROS2.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in robotics, motion control, and electromechanical systems.
