Overview

Seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the construction, installation, commissioning, and startup of large-scale automated material handling systems within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. The role combines technical oversight of automation equipment with strong project leadership, vendor coordination, budget management, scheduling, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with multiple construction managers and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project scope, quality, budget, schedule, and overall execution.
  • Review and manage project changes, risks, and scope modifications.
  • Partner with engineering, automation, and operations teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Keep projects on schedule while proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Lead daily coordination across multiple contractors and disciplines to minimize conflicts and delays.
Required Experience
  • Senior-level construction project management experience supporting automated industrial systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with installation, commissioning, startup, and testing of automated material handling solutions.
  • Strong vendor management, stakeholder communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional project teams.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as:
    • Automated storage solutions
    • Autonomous mobile transport systems
    • Automated conveyor and material movement equipment
