Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist | 1st Shift | $28-$35 | Florence, KY

Looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong sheet metal fabrication experience who can read blueprints, create and modify CAD drawings, and help move projects from design to production.

If you're comfortable working independently, solving manufacturing problems, and working closely with both customers and the shop floor, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Create and modify sheet metal drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Read and interpret engineering blueprints and production drawings.
  • Program laser and turret punch machines (Striker experience is a plus).
  • Develop prototypes and support products from design through production.
  • Work with production teams to improve manufacturability and solve shop issues.
  • Maintain drawings, bills of materials, and engineering documentation.
  • Communicate with customers to review designs and answer technical questions.
  • Help improve manufacturing processes, quality, and efficiency
Qualifications
  • Strong sheet metal fabrication experience required.
  • Strong blueprint reading and layout skills.
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment.
  • CNC programming experience (Striker preferred but not required).
  • Strong understanding of fabrication methods, materials, tolerances, and tooling.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work with minimal supervision.
