AtWork Personnel is partnering with a growing client in the manufacturing and distribution industry to hire an experienced Senior Materials Manager. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a systems-driven supply chain professional who thrives in fast-paced, scaling environments.
In this role, you will oversee procurement strategy, inventory management, fulfillment operations, and supply chain planning across multiple sales channels including Amazon FBA, direct-to-consumer, and wholesale distribution. The ideal candidate will bring strong ERP expertise, advanced analytics capabilities, and a proactive approach to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:Manage and mentor a high-performing team responsible forend-to-end raw material and finished goods availability.
- Omnichannel Excellence:Execute replenishment strategies across all channels, with a specific focus onoptimizing the Amazon FBA inventory lifecycle(pre-positioning, compliance, and performance metrics).
- S&OP Ownership:Lead theSales & Operations Planningprocess, ensuring perfect alignment between demand forecasts and supply realities.
- Systems Innovation:Act as theinternal champion for SAP S/4HANA, leveragingSAP Analytics Cloud or Power BIto create resilient, scenario-based planning models.
- Risk Mitigation:Proactively identify supply chain bottlenecks and implementrobust contingency plansto ensure operational continuity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Sales, Marketing, and eCommerce tosynchronize inventorywith high-impact product launches and seasonal surges.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain/Operations is a significant plus.
- Experience:7+ yearsin supply chain management, ideally withinConsumer Packaged Goods (CPG)or high-volume distribution.
- Certifications:APICS (ASCM) CPIM or CSCPstrongly preferred.
- Amazon Expertise:Proven track record of managingAmazon Seller Central and FBA operationsat scale.
- Technical Proficiency:Advanced knowledge ofERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred)and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
- The "Soft" Skills:Exceptional communication skills and the ability tonavigate ambiguityduring periods of rapid digital transformation
