Job Summary

The CAD/CAM Designer is responsible for creating detailed engineering drawings and developing CNC programs for die shop operations using CAD/CAM software. This role requires strong technical expertise in modeling, programming, and interpreting engineering specifications to support manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and generate CNC programs using CAM software for machining operations.
  • Create, modify, and maintain 2D and 3D models using CAD tools.
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
  • Convert 2D drawings into 3D models and generate NC programs from solid models.
  • Monitor, document, and control changes related to CNC programs and machining processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards by identifying and correcting unsafe conditions or behaviors.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in CAD, Mechanical Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in CAD/CAM design and CNC programming.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in:
