Job description

Description
  • Part number creation and maintenance
  • Bill of material creation, configuration, and maintenance
  • ECR & ECN processing
  • Act as a technical resource for North American operations
  • Component drawing creation (2D and 3D as needed)
  • Communicate with corporate headquarters to resolve issues beyond the scope of U.S. Design Engineering
  • Define our product offerings via proposal drawings
  • Modify existing product for adaptation to customer specific applications
  • Create certified drawings and additional technical support documentation
  • Assist with establishing internal processing methodologies for repetitive orders
  • Other duties/projects as assigned

Requirements
Education: 2-year A.S. Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent experience
Experience: Proficiency with AutoCAD Mechanical and 3D modeling experience required, Solidworks preferred
Understanding of GD&T required
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel is preferred
Skills and Key Attributes: Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills
Able to effectively work in a team environment as well as individually
Able to communicate with both internal and external customers clearly and efficiently
Strong technical skills
Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a desk for up to 10 hours per day.
