Ready to see your designs move from concept to production and make a real impact? TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a Product Design Engineer for a global provider of material-handling solutions in Hiram, GA.

In this role, youll help design, develop, and launch commercial products while partnering closely with engineering, manufacturing, and product development teams. Youll play a key role in bringing new products to market, improving existing product lines, and supporting production processes that keep innovation moving forward.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and implement new products from concept through production.

  • Serve as the lead engineer for assigned product lines, supporting product performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Create and maintain 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

  • Support new product introductions and product rollouts across the organization.

  • Manage and update bills of materials (BOMs), routings, item masters, and engineering changes within ERP systems (SAP preferred).

  • Provide technical support to manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain engineering documentation, training materials, and system libraries to support best practices and knowledge sharing.

  • Train and mentor engineers on engineering systems, SAP processes, and troubleshooting methodologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and overall engineering processes.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.

  • 2+ years of experience in automation machinery manufacturing or a related manufacturing environment.

  • Strong product design, 3D CAD modeling, and engineering documentation experience.

  • Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and sheet metal design.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
