Compensation:

$150,000 - $250,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Close used car sales using strong negotiation and customer service skills to ensure a positive sales experience
  • Arrange and accompany auto sales customers on test drives
  • Uphold the dealership’s reputation for excellence by maintaining a professional appearance, whether in the showroom or attending sales meetings
  • Present potential customers with used car options while specifying their characteristics, details, features, and competitive differentiators to deliver a positive sales experience
  • Answer questions related to auto sales contracts and financing options while coordinating with the sales manager and finance service department
  • Engage prospective customers through outbound sales efforts, phone calls, text messages, email, and social media.

  • Generate new business by actively marketing inventory on Facebook Marketplace and other online platforms.

  • Build and maintain your own book of business through networking, referrals, and repeat clientele.

  • Understand each customer’s needs and recommend the best vehicle and financing options.

  • Conduct professional vehicle presentations and test drives.

  • Negotiate pricing, trade-ins, financing, and vehicle protection products to maximize deal value while maintaining customer satisfaction.

  • Guide customers through the entire sales process—from initial inquiry to final delivery and paperwork.

  • Build long-term customer relationships through exceptional service and consistent follow-up.

  • Utilize DealerCenter CRM to document customer interactions, manage leads, track opportunities, and maintain an organized sales pipeline.

  • Follow dealership sales processes and maintain accurate CRM records.

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales and gross profit goals.

  • Collaborate with management and the finance department to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.


Qualifications:
  • Have an interest and knowledge in used car features, auto sales trends, car dealerships’ processes, financing options, and sales management
  • GED equivalent or high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Stellar customer service skills, communication skills, and a high commitment to customer satisfaction are paramount
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required
  • Minimum 2 years of automotive sales experience (required).

  • Previous experience using DealerCenter CRM is strongly preferred.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

  • Strong outbound sales and lead generation skills.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

  • Comfortable using CRM software, texting platforms, social media, and digital communication tools.
