Assistant manager/Service Writer for Fleet Auto Repair Shop
Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a enjoyment for the automotive industry? Our busy and growing auto repair shop, specializing in fleet services, is looking for a skilled assistant Manager Office Administrator to join our team. If you have a strong administrative background and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!


Responsibilities:


* Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, customer communication, and record-keeping.
* Handle invoicing and payment processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Utilize and maintain our shop management system (e.g., Mitchell1 or similar) for service orders and invoicing.
* Navigate various fleet management and invoicing platforms or willing to learn quickly (e.g., Fleetio, Wheelz, Holman, Wex, Element, etc.) to process orders and reconcile accounts.

* Communicate effectively with fleet managers and drivers to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Assist with inventory management and ordering of office supplies.


Qualifications:
* Full-time availability is required.
* Proficient computer skills are essential.
* Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
* Proven experience in an office or clerical role within the automotive repair industry is a must.
* Familiarity with Mitchell1 Shop Management System or other auto repair invoicing software, or willing to learn quickly.
* Knowledge of parts ordering and return processes with auto parts suppliers is preferred.
* Basic accounts payable and accounts receivable experience is preferred.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
