Job description

Are you looking for a great opportunity to show you NAPA Know How? Join a winning team at your locally owned and operated NAPA Auto Parts of Tomball/Kingwood.
As a NAPA Outside Sales Manager, you have the opportunity to promote the entire NAPA line of products for a fast-paced leader in the automotive parts industry. Use your customer-focused sales skills to knock sales out of the park and manage your income potential to its highest potential. You will also work directly with the ownership group and assist in guiding and directing the future overall course of the company by managing all outside sales and promotions to our customers.
Responsibilities
  • Work with the store Ownership to develop sales plans and execution of those plans.
  • Call on existing store wholesale customers to maintain and grow current relationships and sales penetration
  • Promote the full line of NAPA products and programs to new and existing customers
  • Develop new customer relationships with wholesale customers through prospecting and cold calling.
  • Prior experience in an automotive competitive, outside sales environment is a must
  • Heavy-duty truck, auto body, paint experience helpful but not required.
  • Keep informed on new NAPA products or sales promotions by working with the factory product sales teams, along with educational opportunities as they become available.'
  • Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times.
  • Adhere to and follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Passion for delivering customer care and building long-term relationships
  • Knowledge of inventory controls, stocking levels, and seasonal shifts is a plus
  • Personal drive, self-motivation, and initiative to accomplish business goals
  • Customer focus and high energy in our fast-paced stores
  • Ability to operate a cash register and navigating computer and paper catalog systems
  • Passion for delivering customer care in a strong team environment

Additional Information
You must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to meet business needs. This may include evenings and weekends in a retail setting. This position requires a pre-employment background, and drug check, along with a DMV print out.
