Job Summary

Mason's Hardware Conroe Location is seeking a friendly and service-oriented Parts Sales associate to join our team in a fast paced environment! As a Parts Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their parts needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities will include working the parts counter, stocking shelves, processing inventory, and maintaining the store’s appearance and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of small engine parts is preferred. 
Responsibilities 
  • Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping.
  • Work with our customers at the counter and phone calls to place accurate and timely orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized counter area at all times.
  • Perform customer service through research, parts ordering, viewing illustrated parts lists, issuing quotes, and resolving customer concerns using established procedures.
  • Work with customers, technicians, and vendors to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of part orders.
  • Receives and stocks items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in designated bins and on shelves.
  • Utilize computers for order tracking and inventory management.
  • Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
  • Take added responsibility for store cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Bilingual a plus (Spanish).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Knowledge of the small engine / outdoor power equipment market and products preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software applications.
  • Ability to bend, squat, or climb and lift at least 50lbs, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Willingness to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
