Job Title: B-Level Automotive Technician

Location: KAR Auto Service and Sales llc, Tolland CT
Job Type: Full-Time

About Us:
We are a busy, well-established automotive repair shop committed to high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. We’re looking for a skilled and reliable B-Level Technician to join our team and help us continue delivering top-tier service.

Position Overview:
As a B-Level Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues. You should be comfortable handling most mechanical repairs independently, while continuing to grow your diagnostic skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems

  • Conduct routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.)

  • Accurately document vehicle issues and repairs

  • Work closely with service advisors and team members

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace

  • Follow safety procedures and shop standards

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of automotive repair experience preferred

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to handle most repairs with minimal supervision

  • Valid driver’s license

  • ASE certifications are a plus (not required)

  • Own tools required
