Job Summary:
The Auto Body Shop Manager is responsible for the entire operations of FIX Auto Westheimer. Responsibilities include overseeing the completion of all repairs, achieving monthly & annual financial targets, driving store revenues and CSI/NPS improvements. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who leads by example, with hands-on knowledge of writing estimates and communicating professionally with customers throughout the repair process.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, its employees and customer relations.
  • Write accurate repair estimates and review estimates prepared by staff for completeness and accuracy.
  • Communicate clearly with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates on repair status, timelines, and costs.
  • Work collaboratively as a team player, supporting staff at all levels to keep repairs moving and maintain a positive shop culture.
  • Maintain and enhance insurance company relationships by ensuring DRP guidelines are executed and CSI/NPS targets are achieved.
  • Achieve annual/monthly sales and financial performance targets.
  • Review work orders, assign tasks to employees and verify the quality of work performed.
  • Market to other business to generate additional revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct effective store meetings to train and keep employees informed of upcoming events and goals.
  • Resolve all customer-related and employee complaints.
  • Recruit, interview and hire new employees to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Oversee the training, development, corrective action and termination of all employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Skill Requirements:
  • 5+ years of prior management experience in a collision facility required. Prior collision center, production management and estimating experience required.
  • Proven ability to write repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software (e.g., CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex).
  • Strong customer communication skills, with the ability to explain repairs, timelines, and costs in a clear, professional manner.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach to leading and supporting shop staff.
  • High school degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Effective leadership, customer service and delegations skills required.
  • Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
