No previous auto glass experience is required. We provide paid, hands-on training, professional tools, and ongoing mentorship to help you become a certified, skilled Auto Glass Technician. Compensation:$18 - $22 hourly
Responsibilities:
As an Auto Glass Technician Trainee, you'll work alongside experienced technicians while learning every aspect of professional auto glass repair and replacement.
Responsibilities include:
- Learn windshield repair, rock chip repair, and crack repair techniques
- Assist with windshield replacement and auto glass installation
- Learn ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) camera recalibration procedures
- Inspect vehicle glass and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions
- Educate customers on windshield repair versus replacement options
- Recommend additional services, including:
- Window tint installation
- Hail damage repair
- Headlight restoration
- Mobile auto glass services
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the repair process
- Assist with scheduling appointments and daily shop operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
- Follow all safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
- No previous experience required—we provide complete paid training
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Mechanically inclined or eager to learn a skilled trade
- Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
