Job description

Driven Auto Body has become one of the fastest growing Auto Body repair shops in Siouxland, and we are looking for highly motivated individuals that want to grow with us! The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and professional workplace. We are currently hiring Auto Body Technicians to help support our booming body shop business and to provide our customers with exceptional experiences.

Auto Body Technicians will safely repair vehicles to pre-accident conditions, in a manner that is consistent with vehicle manufacturer procedures using industry guidelines/standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete dis-assembly of vehicle in order to assist Estimator in assessing damage to prepare a 100% Repair Plan
  • Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards for all operations listed
  • Check parts against estimate and ensures proper parts were ordered and received; store parts on carts or cover to eliminate potential damage
  • Keeps personal work area organized and clean, returns tools and maintains parts/materials carts in an organized manner.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools (welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, blocks, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns, etc.)
  • Notifies management of any issues or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time
  • Able to follow all workplace safety requirements
  • Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned relating to, but not limited to washing cars, cleaning the shop, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Collision repair experience: 2 years preferred but not required
  • Dependable and adaptable โ€“ enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
  • Excellent communication skills, high level of initiative, and ability to work as part of a team
  • Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Good time management skills
  • Honest and great work ethic
