As part of our expanding Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team, you will work at the forefront of today's most complex engineering challenges. You will be engaged in analyzing failures of a myriad of products from a variety of industries from automotive, construction, consumer products, consumer electronics and medical devices to name a few. This position is available in either our Chicago or New York office.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attracting and winning new business opportunities for Secretariat in both expert witness and or strategic consulting
  • Contributing to the growth of Secretariat's Electrical Engineering practice by recruiting talented staff
  • Mentoring and driving growth of Electrical Engineering staff
  • Providing project management and project budget oversight

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Established track record for business development and existing client-base
  • Requisite professional degrees:
  • PhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Computer Science & Engineering
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience with Power electronics, Industrial process control, consumer products, circuit analysis, control system is a plus
  • The ability to travel globally as needed.
  • The ability to work odd hours to adjust to client needs globally
  • Strong report writing skills to complement analytics
  • Able to quickly assimilate relevant information in unfamiliar situations and develop creative approaches and solutions necessary to resolve complex problems
  • The ability to manage and prioritize your time and your team's time, potentially against a backdrop of competing deadlines
