Electrical Test Technician Highlights:

Electrical Test Technician Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement electrical testing of production equipment/ operations
  • Ensure equipment is clean and in good working condition
  • Train staff on safe and efficient operation of equipment
  • Prepare in-process and final inspection reports
  • Prepare monthly summary reports
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits
  • Assist with production duties
  • Maintain daily test logs

Electrical Test Operator Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Sound understanding of mechanical and electrical systems required
  • Proficiency working with oscilloscopes, voltmeters, programmable test equipment, hipot testers, transformers and controls
  • Safety conscious, clear understanding of electrical codes, lock-out tags and procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more on a regular basis
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits
  • Strong electrical aptitude
