Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Collision Body Tech to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles after collisions, ensuring they meet safety standards and look their best. Your expertise will help bring vehicles back to their original condition, providing exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team dedicated to automotive excellence and craftsmanship.


Duties

  • Repair and replace damaged body panels using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment such as MIG welding and soldering techniques
  • Perform sheet metal fabrication, bending, shaping, and alignment to restore vehicle structures accurately
  • Conduct auto body repairs including dent removal, frame straightening, and auto glass replacement
  • Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer using airless paint spraying systems
  • Assist with auto restoration projects by performing mechanical repairs, detailing, and assembly tasks as needed
  • Use auto estimating software to assess damage and determine repair scope in collaboration with the service team
  • Lift heavy vehicle components safely while adhering to safety protocols and maintain detailed repair records


Skills

  • Proven dealership experience or extensive auto body repair background
  • Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication techniques
