About This Job
As an Auto Collision Estimator, you play a pivotal role in our repair process, serving as the first point of contact for many customers. You accurately assess vehicle damage, prepare detailed repair estimates, and guide customers through the repair journey. Your expertise ensures fair and precise evaluations, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the efficient operation of our facility. You act as a trusted advisor, translating complex repair needs into clear, actionable plans.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Creates comprehensive and accurate collision repair estimates using industry-standard software.
  • Performs thorough automotive damage assessments to identify all necessary repairs and parts.
  • Ensures all estimates and repair plans comply with Pennsylvania Insurance Regulations.
  • Manages and processes Insurance Claims Processing, communicating effectively with adjusters and customers.
  • Provides exceptional Customer Service, explaining repair procedures, costs, and timelines clearly and empathetically.
  • Applies extensive Automotive Repair Knowledge to determine appropriate repair methods and materials.
  • Maintains meticulous Attention to Detail in all documentation, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
  • Collaborates with technicians and parts departments to ensure efficient workflow and accurate parts ordering.
  • Identifies opportunities for additional services or repairs that benefit the customer.
  • Resolves customer concerns and addresses questions regarding estimates and repair processes.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
  • Proven experience in auto collision estimation.
  • Experience working directly with insurance companies on claims.
Knowledge/Skills
  • Proficiency in Collision Repair Estimation software and practices.
  • Expertise in Automotive Damage Assessment techniques.
  • Thorough understanding of Pennsylvania Insurance Regulations related to collision repair.
  • Strong capabilities in Insurance Claims Processing and negotiation.
  • Excellent Customer Service and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive Automotive Repair Knowledge across various vehicle makes and models.

  • Possesses a valid Pennsylvania Estimator's License.
