Ben Davis Chevrolet Buick Ford’s Auto Body Shop is growing and looking for experienced Auto Body Painters and Painter's Assistants to join our team! As part of a family-owned, multi-store dealership group, we’re committed to providing our employees with the tools, support, and opportunity they need to succeed. Job Responsibilities:
Auto Body Painter:
- Prepare vehicles for refinishing, including sanding, masking, priming, and surface preparation.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve accurate factory-quality finishes.
- Apply primers, basecoats, clearcoats, and other refinishing products.
- Inspect completed work for color match, finish quality, and overall appearance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and proper safety procedures.
- Work closely with technicians and the collision repair team to complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
Painter's Assistant:
- Assist auto body painters with vehicle preparation, masking, sanding, and priming.
- Help with paint and materials preparation as directed.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
- Assist with moving and positioning vehicles as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and proper handling practices for refinishing materials.
