Responsibilities
• Create detailed and accurate auto body repair estimates to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate closely with technicians and parts departments to verify the accuracy of repair plans and parts availability
• Maintain open communication with customers, providing updates and addressing any concerns throughout the repair process
• Utilize industry-standard software to document and track all estimates, ensuring compliance with company and insurance guidelines
• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair needs and determine the most efficient repair methods
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters to negotiate and finalize repair estimates, ensuring fair and timely settlements
• Stay updated on industry trends and repair techniques to continuously improve estimating accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
Experience:
• Auto Estimating: 5 years (Preferred)
• Experience writing/working with all major DRP programs (Geico, Progressive, USAA, Allstate, etc.) preferred
• Prior experience working as an insurance adjuster is welcomed
• Parts Trader Experience (preferred)
• ADAS exposure or experience writing & billing (preferred)
• Understanding of gross profit (preferred)
