What is an Autism Software Engineer?

An Autism Software Engineer is a professional who develops, tests, and maintains software applications specifically designed to assist individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Their work often involves collaborating with therapists, educators, and caregivers to ensure the software meets therapeutic or educational goals. They may work for specialized tech companies, educational institutions, or healthcare organizations.

How does an Autism Software Engineer collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accessible and inclusive software design?
