Job description

Behavior Support Aide (Entry-Level)

Immediate opening for Behavior Support Aide in Riverdale, GA, USA. Position pays $14.00-15.00 per hour semi-monthly (15 & 30) for part-time hours, 10-20 hours per week. The Behavior Support Aide will work with a 22-year-old female with Autism, implementing evidence-based behavior-analytic interventions while assisting her with daily living skills, schoolwork, and community engagement.

Hours include Monday through Friday with AM & PM schedules available and weekend rotation for community outings. The ideal candidate should have experience with autism, demonstrate patience, and possess the skills necessary to support the individual's functional independence.

Duties and responsibilities include providing 1:1 support for daily activities and outings, assisting the RBT with implementing behavior strategies, encouraging safe social or recreational activities, maintaining the Activity Box, teaching and assisting with cooking, cleaning, and laundry, accurately recording daily progress, and supporting the client's growth and development at home and in the community.

Requirements include coursework or experience in psychology, education, or ABA support, enthusiasm for working with neurodiverse adults, reliable transportation, and a smartphone for check-ins.

Qualifications include being at least 18 years old, ability to read and write in English, a valid Georgia driver's license and auto insurance, CPR & First Aid Certification, current TB test, and CPI Certification.
