Please be advised that final salary placement is determined by education and credentialed service years based on the certificated salary schedule.
Initial Salary Placement: Initial placement for years of experience is based on the following:
1. A maximum of six (6) years of experience as a credentialed public school employee (excluding
emergency permits and internship credentials), having worked a minimum of 75% of each work
year.
2. A maximum of six (6) years of experience as a credentialed private school employee (excluding
emergency permits and internship credentials), in a WASC-accredited private school, having
worked a minimum of 75% of each work year.
A total of up to 6 years of outside experience will be accepted.
