Job description

We are seeking a responsible and dedicated individual to join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transporter. In this role, you will provide safe, reliable transportation for patients to and from medical appointments throughout Central Virginia and Augusta County.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients to and from scheduled medical appointments in a safe and timely manner.
  • Ensure the comfort and well-being of patients during transit.
  • Maintain accurate trip records and assist patients with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and local traffic laws.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a reliable means of transportation to reach the company vehicle in Charlottesville.
  • Must have a smartphone and access to a computer for scheduling and communication purposes.
  • Strong customer service skills and a caring attitude toward patients.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and provide a clean driving history.

Additional Information:

  • Hours are flexible between 4:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
  • Pay range from $17 - $20 per hour, based on experience.
