Position Details:


Job Type: Part-time, non-exempt, seasonal (August 2026-May 2027).

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30pm -6:00 pm (required)

Start Date: Mid-August 2026

Location: On-site at Austin ISD elementary schools


We partner with Austin ISD to provide after school care on-site at 11 elementary schools in the southwest Austin area.

Job Duties Include:

  • Teachers actively supervise planned activity centers, free play, and facilitate games that emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship.
  • Our teachers lead engaging activities that allow students to both explore new talents and build on known skills.
    • Activities include but are not limited to sports, arts and crafts, painting, science and engineering, gym games, sewing, and cooking!
  • Provide mentorship to the students and foster positive relationships with students and parents
  • Serve as a teacher and positive role model to the students
  • Ensure the health and safety of the students at all times, and compliance with licensing rules and regulations

What We're Looking For:

  • Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs and be able to stand and be physically active for long periods of time

  • Candidates must meet all TDFPS requirements, have reliable transportation, and be dedicated and VERY DEPENDABLE.
  • Must pass a state-run criminal background check before starting employment
