These competencies are vital for delivering high-quality audits, maintaining regulatory standards, and fostering trust with stakeholders.

Auditing managers typically earn higher salaries than entry-level auditors due to their experience and leadership responsibilities. Salaries vary by industry, location, and company size, but the role generally offers competitive compensation within the accounting and finance fields.

Their role involves managing deadlines and maintaining accuracy in financial reporting.

Do you need a CPA to be an audit manager?

An audit manager typically does not need a CPA license, but many employers prefer or require it for higher-level positions.
