Audit Program Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing and coordinating an organization’s audit programs. They develop audit plans, manage audit teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. Their role involves identifying risks, improving processes, and providing recommendations to enhance organizational efficiency and integrity. Audit Program Managers often serve as a bridge between auditors, management, and stakeholders to ensure audits are completed effectively and on schedule.

Job description

About the Organization
Now is a great time to join Redhorse Corporation. We are a solution-driven company delivering data insights and technology solutions to customers with missions critical to U.S. national interests. We're looking for thoughtful, skilled professionals who thrive as trusted partners building technology-agnostic solutions and want to apply their talents supporting customers with difficult and important mission sets.
About the Role
Redhorse transforms the way government uses data and technology. To support this mission, we are seeking a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to serve as a cornerstone of our operational leadership within the Intelligence Community. In this role, you will partner with the Program Manager to drive contract execution and ensure that our technical teams deliver exceptional results in high-stakes environments. You will be responsible for the day-to-day "pulse" of the program-from strategic resource allocation and project scheduling to lead-level technology management. If you are a disciplined leader who thrives on building efficient, inclusive, and mission-ready teams, your work here will have a direct impact on national security and technological innovation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Program Manager in all aspects of contract execution, management, and the high-quality delivery of services.
  • Provide operational leadership and act on behalf of the Program Manager as needed to maintain continuity of operations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage daily operations, including strategic resource allocation, project scheduling, and task prioritization.
  • Oversee the timely completion of all deliverables, ensuring they meet established timelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team leads and technical staff to monitor progress, identify potential risks, and resolve operational issues.
  • Support the design, documentation, and implementation of inclusive, enterprise-level operational team structures within the technology space.
  • Manage internal and external audits utilizing the RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) methodology framework.
  • Conduct and support comprehensive business process reviews to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver transparent program status reports and executive briefings to diverse stakeholders.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between the technical teams and external stakeholders.

Required Experience/Clearance
  • Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph security clearance.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in program or project management, specifically within the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Operational Design: Demonstrated experience designing, documenting, and implementing enterprise-level operational team structures in a technology-focused environment.
  • Audit & Frameworks: Professional experience managing internal and external audits and applying the RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) methodology.
  • Process Improvement: Proven ability to conduct business process reviews and implement operational optimizations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical or professional discipline.

Desired Skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent project management credential.
  • Previous experience serving in a deputy or secondary leadership capacity for large-scale IC or DoD programs.
  • Strong background in strategic resource management and operational planning.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid program management methodologies.
  • Experience overseeing enterprise-level technology operations and cloud-based environments.
  • A commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment through mentorship and collaborative leadership.
