Assistant Managers take hands-on leadership to the next level, helping drive the people, performance, and day-to-day operations of the restaurant while delivering the Five Guys experience — great food, friendly service, a clean restaurant, and a team that’s ready to win! This is an active, on-the-floor leadership role, and Assistant Managers are expected to perform all duties and responsibilities of both the Crew Member and Shift Manager positions while supporting the General Manager in developing the team, coaching performance, maintaining food safety and brand standards, and driving strong operational results. Whether jumping on the line during a rush, developing the next Shift Manager, reviewing restaurant performance, or preparing for an operational visit or food safety audit, Assistant Managers lead from the front, take ownership, and help ensure the restaurant is ready to perform at a high level every day.
