Job description

What you need to know about this position:
  • Provides identification, assessment, and management of disorders of the auditory, balance, and other neural systems.
  • Provides audiological (aural) rehabilitation, selection, fitting, and dispensing of amplification systems such as hearing aids and related devices.
  • Prevents hearing loss through the provision and fitting of hearing protection devices, and consultation on the effects of noise on hearing, and consumer education.
  • The hourly range for this position is between $32.93 and $52.58. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
  • This PRN position would require you to work Thursdays and Fridays, 8:00am-4:30pm, on an as-needed basis, depending on patient census, etc.

What is required for this position:
Education and/or Experience
  • Master's or doctorate degree in Audiology. Indiana State Licensure in Audiology; and ASHA's Certificate of Clincial Competence in Audiology (or eligibility) required.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
  • Must be eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology administered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and for the Indiana licensure in Audiology. License required within 18 months of hire. Will consider CFY applicant if supervision is available.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
