Job description

Audiologist

Provides identification, assessment, and management of disorders of the auditory, balance, and other neural systems. Provides audiological (aural) rehabilitation, selection, fitting, and dispensing of amplification systems such as hearing aids and related devices. Prevents hearing loss through the provision and fitting of hearing protection devices, and consultation on the effects of noise on hearing, and consumer education. The hourly range for this position is between $32.93 and $52.58. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions. This PRN position would require you to work Thursdays and Fridays, 8:00am-4:30pm, on an as-needed basis, depending on patient census, etc.

What is required for this position:

  • Education and/or Experience Master’s or doctorate degree in Audiology.
  • Indiana State Licensure in Audiology; and ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (or eligibility) required.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Must be eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology administered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and for the Indiana licensure in Audiology. License required within 18 months of hire. Will consider CFY applicant if supervision is available. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
