About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Specialist to provide frontline technical support for corporate infrastructure and enterprise applications. This is a hands-on, onsite role supporting both corporate office and distribution center environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and experience supporting enterprise users in fast-paced operational settings.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to critical business operations while gaining exposure to a large enterprise environment, with potential for conversion to a full-time US Foods employee based on business needs and performance.
What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents and service requests using ITSM/ticketing systems
  • Install, configure, maintain, and support Windows-based hardware and software
  • Provide desktop, laptop, mobile device, and peripheral support
  • Support audio/visual equipment and conferencing technologies
  • Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, equipment deployment, and refresh projects
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle documentation
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance with internal teams and external vendors
  • Support printer maintenance, equipment repairs, and technical needs within distribution center operations
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
  • Follow change management, security, and IT support best practices
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on IT support experience in enterprise environments
  • Strong experience with:
    • Windows desktop deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
    • PC hardware installation, maintenance, and repair
    • Desktop and peripheral troubleshooting
    • Mobile device support (iOS and Android)
    • Microsoft Office applications
    • Audio/visual and conferencing technologies
  • Experience working in an ITSM/ticketing environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environments
  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certifications, or equivalent technical certifications
  • Knowledge of:
    • LAN/WAN networking
    • TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, DNS, and DHCP
    • Active Directory administration
    • Windows Server environments
    • VPN, VDI, endpoint management, and security tools
Work Schedule
First 45 Days:
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
After Approximately 45 Days:
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday, Thursday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • One-hour lunch break daily
Additional Details
  • Onsite position only
  • Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs
  • Must be available to work holidays that fall on weekdays
  • Local travel is minimal
Contract Information
This position begins as a contractor assignment and is reviewed every 90 days. There is potential for conversion to a full-time US Foods employee; however, conversion is not guaranteed and typically occurs after approximately one year based on business needs, performance, and available openings.
