Familiarity with AV design software, control systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools is typically required. What does an audio visual sales engineer do?

An Audio Visual (AV) Sales Engineer is a professional who combines technical knowledge of audio and video equipment with sales skills to design and sell AV solutions to clients. They assess customer needs, recommend appropriate AV systems, and provide technical support throughout the sales process. Their responsibilities often include creating proposals, demonstrating products, coordinating installations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. AV Sales Engineers work closely with manufacturers, integrators, and end-users to deliver tailored AV solutions for a variety of settings such as conference rooms, classrooms, and event spaces.
