CSI is looking to hire an enthusiastic and results-driven Manufacturing Materials Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating job and equipment processes including processing change orders, managing return materials, and supporting production through collaboration with shop supervisors, technicians, and purchasing. Engages directly with customers on Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Test of Performance (TOPs), and submittals. Maintains equipment documentation and monitors job status updates post-MRP runs to ensure workflow accuracy and project alignment.

Salary: $22 - $24 per hour
Primary Functions:
• Collaboration with Purchasing/Material Management
• Interacting with buyers on material expectations and schedule
• Tracking material short and late material
• Interface with Purchasing/Lane Supervisors to determine the need to expedite material or provide alternate options
• Create Transfer Orders for job materials, shipments to other warehouses
• Track status of open transfer order in the ERP system and proactively address delays or discrepancies.
• Monitor and manage the Fulfillment Workbench daily to ensure timely allocation and reservation of materials for jobs.
• Create, follow up on and receive Purchase Orders
• Collaboration with Shop Supervisors
• Manage shipping process by contacting customers for correct address, info, communicate with Production Techs and PMs
• Proactive material management of Lane 4 and Lane 3 projects
• Assess current inventory, lead times, manufacturing capacity and other factors that may impact the schedule
• Collaboration with Project Management
• Articulate material concerns and suggest material substitutions to Project Managers
• Financial reporting and analysis using dashboards, reporting concerns and relevant information to Project Managers and appropriate staff
• Maintain Quote Stats Dashboard, updating information and engaging PMs Business System and Process Improvements
• Conceptualize and request business system customizations
• Identify gaps and inefficiencies and proactively work to resolve them
• Be a leader in continuous improvement
• Test new process ideas for greater efficiency
Required Skills:

Standard workday is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Overnight travel and/or extended hours may be required as well as some Saturday hours. More than 40 hours per week will normally be required in order to achieve the productivity necessary for this position.
This position requires the ability to interact with employees verbally and in writing, remain in a stationary position for 80% of the workday, have close visual acuity, and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a phone, copy/fax/scan machine, computer keyboard and mouse with or without reasonable accommodation. This position also requires the ability to occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
