· Manage hold, rework, and deviation orders with proper documentation and traceability.

BOM Verification & Change Control

· Perform pre-release BOM audits (components, alternates, substitutions), validate effectivity dates and ECO/ECN incorporation.

· Ensure revision control is consistent across BOMs, routings, and documentation, partner with Engineering on change implementation.

· Lead periodic cycle checks of high-value or critical BOMs; investigate BOM yield losses and scrap trends.

· Confirm material availability (MRP stock, open POs, transfer orders) after order release; prevent partial kits unless approved.

· Drive kitting completeness and discrepancy resolution; maintain accuracy for backflushing and batch/lot tracking.

· Support cycle counts and root-cause analysis for inventory adjustments.

Quality & Compliance

· Ensure production orders carry correct inspection plans, sampling, and quality inspection points.

· Manage and enable the upstream query process to maintain timely closure.

· Enforce documentation standards: batch records, travelers, labels, and traceability/serialization where applicable.

· Support internal/external audits and maintain compliance with regulatory entities.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

· Publish daily/weekly KPIs: OTIF, schedule adherence, WIP, yield, scrap, rework hours, labor efficiency, lead time.

· Lead or support kaizen and A3 problem solving to eliminate delays, reduce WIP, and improve right-first time.

· Standardized work and visual controls for order flow, kitting, and deviation management
