Alfred Street Baptist Church | Alexandria, Virginia


Alfred Street Baptist Church is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our Audio/Visual team as a Summer Intern. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in a dynamic, faith-centered environment while supporting the technical ministry that brings our worship services and events to life.

Internship Details

  • Start Date: July 7, 2025
  • Duration: 6 Weeks
  • Compensation: Paid | College Credit Available
  • Location: On-site, Alexandria, Virginia

What You'll Do

  • Assist with live sound, lighting, and video production for Sunday worship services and special events
  • Support livestreaming operations and broadcast quality monitoring
  • Operate and maintain AV equipment
  • Collaborate with the media and production team on church communications and presentations

Availability Requirements
Candidates must be available for the following scheduled commitments:

  • Weekdays: Tuesday Friday, 10:00 AM 4:00 PM
  • Tuesday Evenings: Bible Study support
  • Tech Rehearsals: As scheduled
  • Weekends: 2 weekends per month in support of worship services and events
