Job Description – Shift Manager
Reports directly to the General Manager.
Exercises direct supervision of 15-50 employees.
Essential duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Exhibit, cultivate, and enforce a sense of pride and relentless commitment to each step of preparing Guthrie’s menu items for service.
- Foster a culture of hospitality and quality to attract and retain the best talent.
- Be an ambassador for the brand, building strategic relationships within the community to build a conspicuous reputation of quality and hospitality throughout our communities.
- Support the General Manager in all efforts related to shift performance, including labor deployment and inventory management.
- Review performance daily, taking time to calibrate each day and correspondingly coach and celebrate with your team.
- Provide leadership by generating excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment toward company objectives.
- Maintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position description.
Hourly, Non-Exempt
Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities, which may include the following:
