Job description:

NE Showtime Productions Inc. is looking to add a hard working fast learning Event Staff Person to Set up and Breakdown AV Systems and Event Materials. 

About the position:

As an Event Laborer, you will be responsible for the setup and breakdown of Audio Visual and event rental items in the Massachusetts and Rhode Island areas (and occasionally beyond). This includes (but is no limited to) Audio Visual, Lighting Systems, Décor Draping, Small Tents, tables, chairs, dance floor, stage, linens, lighting, tableware, and catering equipment. Some Days you could be doing a concert and next day delivering chairs. On most delivery days, you could be driving a box truck with a helper to setup and breakdown equipment and other event products. In addition to delivering and picking up our product, you will also be responsible for cleaning and prepping equipment in the warehouse with the rest of the team. Some days will require longer hours. Weekend availability is a must.
Job requirements:

Audio Visual and Event experience is very desirable, but we are willing to train the right kind of person with some experience.
Ability to move quickly, repeatedly carry over 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods is a MUST.
Basic math skills.
Some computer skills is a must.
Good people and communication skills. We work with high-end customers in some of the most prestigious locations. How we present in person and on the phone is very important.
Flexibility. We are a fast growing company and we all wear many hats. You will be trained in ALL aspects of the Audio Visual and Event Rental industry in hopes that you will be able provide support in any area that needs it. We can be Setting up a concert, and setting chairs next. Willingness to help out is paramount.
