This role supports a dynamic, high-tech manufacturing environment and is responsible for the deployment, operation, and support of enterprise audio-visual and collaboration technologies, along with first-level escalation support for the global network.
The primary focus of this position is the ownership and day-to-day support of AV and unified communications solutions across conference rooms, training spaces, and special events. A key initial initiative for this role will be supporting IPG's migration from Cisco-based video conferencing platforms to Microsoft Teams Rooms.
The ideal candidate is a reliable self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to support business-critical collaboration systems in a global enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide initial troubleshooting and triage for network-related operational incidents; escalate to Level 2 or engineering teams when advanced networking support is required
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for enterprise audio-visual and conference room technologies
  • Support, maintain, and help standardize Microsoft Teams Rooms and legacy Cisco video conferencing environments
  • Deploy, operate, and maintain AV systems in conference rooms and training areas, including displays, microphones, cameras, speakers, DSPs, and control systems
  • Work closely with the Unified Communications team to support conference room operations, issue resolution, and technology improvements
  • Provide hands-on AV support for executive meetings, large events, training sessions, and other special events
  • Develop, document, and help enforce global AV standards and best practices
  • Become the SME for IPG's network monitoring and alerting tools
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for AV systems, standards, and operational procedures

  • Mid-level experience supporting unified communications, AV systems, and enterprise network environments
  • Network+ certification or equivalent practical networking experience
  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms; familiarity with Cisco video conferencing solutions preferred
  • Experience with digital signal processors (DSPs), microphones, amplifiers, speakers, projectors, and display technologies
  • Dante certification or hands-on experience with audio-over-IP solutions
  • AVIXA CTS certification or equivalent AV industry experience
  • Experience supporting technology integrations related to mergers and acquisitions is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to support live, business-critical, and executive-facing environments
