Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Audio Visual (AV) Technician to support the setup, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, and providing on-site support in a fast-paced environment. Travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications and Requirements High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1+ years of structured cabling installation experience
  • Current, valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Safety – establish a safety culture to minimize risks and invest in training

Responsibilities

  • We seek someone who shares our values and strives for successful completion of assigned projects
  • Responsibilities Deliver and install equipment including audio, video, control, video conferencing, equipment racks, and other furniture items
  • Run cabling through walls, ceilings, floors, and other building structures
  • Terminate cables with required connectors using solder, compression, crimp, insulation displacement, and other termination methods
  • Load and wire equipment racks and other furniture with AV equipment
  • Mount screens, projectors, displays, lifts, speakers and other AV equipment from wall or ceiling structures
  • Perform basic testing of cables and equipment to ensure proper termination and system performance
  • Maintain current industry knowledge
  • Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of codes and standards
  • Review blueprints or work orders to install, move, change, repair, or remove audio and video communications cables
  • Ability to travel
  • Timely and proactive communication with clear, concise updates
  • Build enduring relationships and exceed client expectations
  • Keep promises, admit mistakes, and take ownership of outcomes
