Job description

Overview:
The Business Development Manager will develop existing local relationships, nurture prospective clients in our current portfolio, and will also source new prospects to add to our client base. Each new, prospective client will meet our internal definition of a vested audio, video, lighting and LED stager. This position reports directly to the National Manager of Business Development.
Essential Functions:

  • Possess a strong understanding of the audio-visual rental and staging market both regionally and nationally to identify and convert prospects into consistent, repeat clients.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to effectively sell the concept of NW360, keep them abreast of additions to our offerings, special offers or programs, and to remain aware of upcoming opportunities and ensure that they are directed to the Customer Service team to fulfill them.
  • Develop an understanding of each client's show schedule as it pertains to annual events and communicate with them regularly about any upcoming events/sub-rental opportunities.
  • Regularly communicate with current clients and prospects to gain a clear understanding of existing objections to deeper engagement with Nationwide Video.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients.
  • Gain a complete and clear understanding of all aspects of Nationwide Video's operation so that it can be properly communicated to prospects and clients.
  • Achieve market growth in subrental market share and revenue in assigned region.
  • Maintain and shares information learned in the field using our CRM.
  • Willingly takes on other job related requests as outlined by the management team.

Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely used standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Other locations may include warehouse environments and are regularly exposed to heavy machinery and noise.
Physical Demands:
Walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move continuously during work hours. Is subject to lifting over 10 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours is work are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm.
Travel:
  • This position must be able to travel up to 50% of the time, mostly within the region.
  • Personal vehicle for transportation, valid driver's license and insurance

Required Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development and/or field sales.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the A/V or rental staging industries.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or related field

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in business development and/or field sales.
  • 5+ years of experience in the A/V or rental staging industries.
