government. We do this by aligning the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem. The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the government.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Audio and Video Equipment Technician to join our team! The Audio and Video Equipment Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio and video equipment for a variety of events, including concerts, sports events, meetings, conventions, presentations, and news conferences. This role ensures high-quality sound, visuals, and lighting to support seamless event production.

Key Responsibilities: • Set up and operate audio and video equipment, including microphones, speakers, video screens, projectors, monitors, recording devices, cables, and sound/mixing boards. • Install and operate spotlights and other custom lighting systems as required. • Test and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functionality before and during events.

• Coordinate with event organizers, presenters, and technical teams to meet production requirements. • Maintain and store equipment in proper working condition. • Follow safety protocols when handling electrical and technical equipment.

• Stay updated on emerging audio/video technologies and best practices. Qualifications: • Experience in operating professional audio and video equipment. • Knowledge of sound mixing, video projection, and lighting systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. • Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Technical or vocational training in audio/video technology preferred. *Position is contingent upon award.
