To thrive as an Audio Mixer, you need a solid understanding of audio engineering principles, sound design, and mixing techniques, usually backed by formal training or relevant experience. Familiarity with digital audio workstations (DAWs) like Pro Tools or Logic Pro, as well as knowledge of mixing consoles and signal processing equipment, is typically required.
