Job description

The Conference Room / Audio-Visual Technician provides conference room scheduling, event support, collaboration center support, and audiovisual setup, operation, and maintenance services. The technician ensures meeting technology, room configurations, and event support services operate successfully before, during, and after events.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and coordinate conference room reservations.
  • Set up conference rooms, training rooms, and event spaces.
  • Configure tables, chairs, podiums, microphones, projectors, televisions, and other AV equipment.
  • Operate and troubleshoot sound, lighting, and audiovisual systems.
  • Provide live meeting and event support.
  • Maintain collaboration center help desk operations.
  • Inspect and maintain conference room technology.
  • Coordinate AV maintenance issues with IT support personnel.
  • Support special events and meeting logistics.
  • Assist other contract functions during periods of lower AV demand.
Notice $65,000-$70,000 Skills & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of audio-visual setup and support experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of special events management and room setup experience.
  • Experience operating modern audiovisual technologies and telecommunications equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain AV systems.
  • Experience with conference room reservation systems.
  • Ability to inspect and maintain AED units.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
Qualifications
